A Blue Marlin Highlights This Chileno Cabo Fishing Charter

Preston organized the December 7 excursion aboard Blue Star, accompanied by Austin, Randy, and Brent.

The group initially planned to target tuna and requested helium and kite-fishing equipment for their eight-hour outing.

However, the captain advised that tuna were not present in sufficient numbers to support the original fishing plan. The group consequently changed its target species to marlin.

The confirmed result was one blue marlin, making it the only recorded fish of the charter.

This adjustment is an important detail of the day's fishing record, reflecting a change in target species rather than a tuna catch.

An Eight-Hour Cabo Marlin Fishing Trip Aboard the Blue Star Charter

The December 7 reservation scheduled departure at 6:00 AM and return at 2:00 PM, providing eight hours for the private excursion.

Jorge was assigned as captain aboard the 32-foot Luhrs Blue Star.

The fishing information identified Chileno as the location associated with the catch, while the final record confirmed one blue marlin.

Although helium and kites were originally requested for tuna fishing, their actual use after the change in target species was not established.

The record does not specify the blue marlin's measurements, release outcome, or hookup time.

The final catch stands at one blue marlin for Preston's four-guest charter, completing another documented Cabo San Lucas billfish outing.
