Three Skipjack Tuna Highlight a Cabo Afternoon Fishing Charter

Jeffrey organized the January 2 fishing excursion aboard Blue Star, accompanied by Samantha, Roman, Jack, Marilyn, Madeline, and Juliana.

The seven guests reserved a private four-hour afternoon charter, bringing their group together for a Cabo San Lucas sportfishing experience during the opening days of 2026.

Their catch consisted of three skipjack tuna, making this the only species recorded during the outing.

The three-fish result contributed another tuna-family species to Blue Star's early January fishing records.

Unlike the marlin-focused excursions also recorded during this period, the group's catch featured skipjack exclusively.

A Four-Hour Cabo Fishing Experience Aboard the Blue Star Charter

The January 2 excursion was scheduled to depart at 2:00 PM and return at 6:00 PM.

Jorge was assigned as captain aboard the 32-foot Luhrs Blue Star for the seven-guest outing.

The afternoon departure provided a different fishing schedule from the early-morning charters commonly associated with Cabo San Lucas.

Lunch was included in the group's reservation, complementing their private fishing arrangements.

The final catch featured three skipjack tuna, with no additional species recorded.

Final Catch Record: Blue Star, Jorge, seven guests, four scheduled hours, three skipjack tuna.

This January 2 outing adds another documented fishing result to Blue Star's Cabo San Lucas charter history, featuring a three-fish skipjack catch during a private afternoon excursion.
