Eight Roosterfish Lead the Cabo Fishing Results During This Charter

January 16 delivered a distinctive Cabo San Lucas sportfishing experience for Mike and Zharick aboard the Blue Star, with roosterfish accounting for most of the day's catch.

The private excursion began at 6:00 AM and continued until 2:00 PM under Captain Jorge's direction.

Eight roosterfish represented the largest portion of the 11 fish recorded. Known for their prominent, comb-like dorsal fins, roosterfish are among the most recognizable gamefish associated with fishing around Cabo San Lucas.

Their strong representation in the catch distinguished this outing from charters primarily centered on marlin or dorado.

A dredge system was included in the fishing arrangements, adding fish-attracting equipment to the charter's preparations.

Marlin and Tuna Complete the Cabo Offshore Fishing Record for This Charter

Alongside the eight roosterfish, the Blue Star recorded one marlin and two tuna, bringing the final tally to 11 fish across three species.

The marlin contributed a billfish component, while the two tuna added variety to the documented results.

For anglers following Cabo marlin fishing and Cabo tuna fishing activity, this excursion provides a record of both species alongside a substantial roosterfish catch.

Captain Jorge and the Blue Star completed the scheduled outing at 2:00 PM, concluding Mike and Zharick's eight-hour fishing experience with 11 recorded fish.
