Marlin and Roosterfish Highlight a Cabo Morning Fishing Charter

Wendy arranged the January 20 excursion aboard Blue Water, accompanied by Robert, Sarah, and Ben for a private fishing experience in Cabo San Lucas.

The four guests reserved a five-hour morning charter, with the final catch featuring one marlin and four roosterfish.

This combination brought together two distinctive sportfishing species in a single outing. The marlin contributed the billfish portion of the catch, while roosterfish accounted for four of the five recorded fish.

Roosterfish are recognized for their prominent, comb-like dorsal fins, making them a distinctive catch among anglers visiting Cabo.

The reservation also included a dredge fish-attraction system as part of the charter arrangements.

Five Fish Define This Cabo Sportfishing Charter Aboard Blue Water

The January 20 excursion was scheduled to begin at 6:00 AM and conclude at 11:00 AM.

Oscar was assigned to the 35-foot Riviera Blue Water for the four-guest outing.

The confirmed results featured one marlin and four roosterfish, giving the group a mixed-species catch during their scheduled morning fishing window.

The combination distinguished this excursion from charters recording only offshore billfish or a single species.

Final Catch Record: Blue Water, Oscar, four guests, five scheduled hours, one marlin and four roosterfish.

This January 20 outing adds a documented five-fish, two-species result to Blue Water's Cabo San Lucas fishing history.
