Hi Everyone
The Giant Squid have returned. A boat fishing south of Newport Harbor had 30 giant squid for 5 anglers last night (there were also some caught the night before as well). The giant squid were the large models running 20-30 pounds. We will have twilight trips nightly targeting the giant squid starting tonight (Friday) May 18 departing at 7pm. Make sure to bring 30-40 pound test and large squid jigs (we have plenty if needed).

Hi Everyone Just got word that the Amigo on a open party overnight with Capt Mike Thompson had only 11 anglers catch 61 yellowtail (10-15 pounds) and 100 calico bass along with some misc other species.?? We have had pretty consistent yellowtail fishing on the overnight trips and as a result we have put a schedule together for the next couple of weeks including Memorial Day Weekend. Hi Everyone The Ultra had 32 yellowtail up to 20 pounds on their overnight trip fishing today (Friday May 11).?? The Ultra had 8 anglers and they also had limits of calico bass to go along with the yellowtail.?? The Ultra and Aggressor have open party overnight trips fishing this Sunday (May 13).??
