All I can say is what a group of anglers we had on this trip, it was a great pleasure sharing the rail with you all. We had everyone at FISHERMANS LANDING by 7pm for a 10pm scheduled departure. Everyone signed in and was on board the PACIFIC DAWN by 7:30 with lots of excitement after seeing the previous days tuna counts. Capt Pat Cavanaugh arrived and said let\'s get going, beings as we were all here and signed in and permits had already been taken care of. For this trip we had Capt\'s Pat and Gary driving, with deckhands Moses and Chris and Whitney in the galley. A quick stop at the bait barge and we were soon under way, Capt Pat gave us the safety briefing and plans for the next two days of fishing. SEAGUAR provided plenty of flourocarbon top shots for everyone to use for the trip. Everyone was awake by 6am and enjoying a very hearty breakfast, when Capt Pat announced we would start the first troll rotations. Our first strike came around 8:30 am and it was wide open for about 30 minutes and we put 22 Albacore from 20-30 lbs on the deck. The rest of the day we picked up a couple more Albacore, and later in the afternoon we started putting a few Bluefin on the Deck. We had one more flurry with the Albacore later in hte eveing and put about 10 more on the deck. Day two was spent trolling and stopping on a few kelp patties, where we managed a few Yellowtail. Thanks to Capt Pat and his crew for a great 2 days on the water.

We have another 2 day charter aboard the PACIFIC DAWN departing 17 September and returning 19 September with a few spots remaining. Tight Lines.
