Fishing inshore on the EL BUDSTER. The Ron Williams party from Tacoma, WA has a fine day.They catch six SIERRA MACKEREL, two 20 lb. ROOSTERFISH and two 25 lb. JACKRABEL. They fish at Chileno Bay.On the EL BUDSTER I. The Josh Stackhouse group from Clarkdale, AZ catches and releases a 120 lb. STRIPED MARLIN. It is caught on a live Pacific Mackerel and takes about 35 minutes to get to the boat. On the EL BUDSTER II. The Stackhouse party catches and releases a 120 lb. STRIPED MARLIN. It is also caught on a live Pacific Mackerel. The fighting time was 45 minutes. The marlin were caught at the Gordo Bank. The water temp. was 74-76 degrees.
