Back on the World Famous El Budster. Harrell Minzenmayer from Rock Port, TX and Rolla Ogle from Potter Valley, CA combine to catch and release a 180 lb. Striped Marlin. That is one Big Striped Marlin. It is once again caught on a Black Bart Lure ( Blue & White). The fighting time was one hour. They also get a very good strike from a big Blue Marlin and a Wahoo. In both cases the fish got off. The marlin was caught 10 - 12 miles out from Cabo. The water temp. was 80 degrees.

For the second day in a row. There are no fish caught on the World Famous El Budster. Back on the El Budster II. The Simeon Hendrickson party from Bolingbrook, IL catches four Dorados ( 15 - 20 lbs. ). All the fish were caught 6 - 8 miles out from Cabo. The boats stay a bit closer to shore today. The World Famous El Budster goes fishing today. But does on catch anything. They have some strikes. But are unable to get anything to stay on the line. On the El Budster II. The Roger Stottlemyre party from Jefferson City, MO hooks a 250 lb. Blue Marlin. It dies during the fight. It was hooked on a Black Bart Lure ( Mr. Petrolero ).
