2010 Dove Opener was a Success

For the 2010 Dove Opener I went hunting with my in laws again. We arrived at the family farm near Ocotillo Wells, CA on Tuesday, August 31st. We had a caravan of three cars and a lot of eager hunters.
On the morning of September 1st we all had a good day of hunting LIMITS were the rule by 9 AM. We mainly shot Morning Dove with a few White Wing and Eurasian Dove mixed in. That night we feasted on the "Tiny Little Steaks." The weather was relatively cool but that was short lived. The next couple days we saw extreme temps.
When the hunt was over we took our standard 20 dove home to be eaten later. Fun was had by all! Thanks to the Allegretti Family for this wonderful opportunity.
