Back on the World Famous El Budster. Sean Geel & Owen White from Chicago and Ill have a FANTASTIC DAY. They catch and release three Striped Marlin ( 100 - 110 - 115 lbs.). All were caught on live Pacific Mackerel. The fighting times were all between 35 - 45 minutes. They also catched & released a 180 lb. Blue Marlin. It is caught on a Black Bart Lure ( Petrolero ). The fighting time was 40 minutes. They combine to also catch four Dorados ( 15 - 25 lbs. ). On the El Budster II. Eric Polep & Adam Cramer from Palos Verdes, CA also have an excellent day. They combine to catch & release three Striped Marlin ( 100 - 110 - 125 lbs.). All three were caught on live Pacific Mackerel. The fighting times were all between 30 - 40 minutes.They catch and release two Blue Marlin ( 150 & 200 lbs.). Both were once again caught on a Black Bart Lure. You are correct. Mr. Petrolero for one and the Blue & White lure for the other. The fighting times were 40 minutes & 1 hr. They also catched & released a 15 lb. Dorado. All the fishes were caught 13 - 14 miles out from Cabo. The water temp. was 79 degrees.
