Fish Plants: Trout plants will resume when surface temps drop.
Lake Hours: 6:00am to 6:30pm
Weather: Forecasts have lows in the 50's and highs in the high 70's. Exluding Monday there are no high winds forecast for this week. Please drop in and let us know what condition the fishin' is in!

BASS
In the morning pummel the points for a topwater whopper. When the sun is high you have to be sly by fishing at 15 or 25 feet with a jig, drop shot, or Carolina rig. Bass are biting drastic on plastic. Fish a straight tail, brush hog, or big worm to nail a lunker largemouth. Don't get nervous the shad will bring bass to the surface. Slam the east dam with shad baits to bring in a bass on the blitz.

TROUT
Wondering about the trout? The water is getting hot but the bite hasn't cooled. The shad are up a bit so use a crank or spoon before noon. Nightcrawlers, mini jigs, and Powerbait are still great choice for bait.

STRIPER
The striper bite won't wind down! Stripers are tired of trout and feeding on shad, so fish a spoon or scrounger to get a 20 pounder. Bait n wait has been the main thing for striper killers. Anchovies or Mackerel are the best baits.

CATFISH
Fishing at DVL for a channel or blue cut bait will do. Anchovies, Mackerel or shrimp won't leave your line limp. The attenuator is the best place to anchor to catch a cat just like that.

PANFISH
Bluegill is bold but crappie is spotty. Shore anglers should fish in the twigs with worms or jigs. From a boat fish the dams with a worm and a float.
