Yesterday the wind gave us some grief and we had a tougher day than the past week or so and today we had a great day for our 11 anglers catching some lingcod and limits of rockfish. We are open party during the week and we also have a limited load charter on Sat. June 4th that needs 6 people. If you are interested to join this charter call 805 844 5566. The Aloha Spirit runs 5 AM trips out of CISCOs in Oxnard. We target White Seabass, Calico Bass, Yellowtail and Halibut when available. We also will run Rockfish and Lingcod Specials. Call CISCOs at (805) 382-1612 or BOOK ONLINE.

I just got off the phone with Shawn Steward and he took a couple buddies out and they caught 20 rockfish, 6 sculpin, and 4 Halibut up to 25. "We hooked 6 and ended up with 4," said Captain Steward. In addition, "We have light loads and I will be going back to find those flatties!"...... Read More
