Kevin Brock reported that fishing for king salmon on the Feather River was very good again today. The bite was consistent throughout the day, and 6 limits of salmon to 17.9 pounds were landed.

Some fish got away, some very close to the boat, but at the end of the day, the count was a solid 12 salmon landed out of 16 hookups.

A covey of quail flew by, and the morning was relatively cool until about noon, then it warmed up a bit. With the recent rains giving everything a good washing, it was a very nice fall day on the Feather River.

For those that missed seeing the last report, this section is worth repeating:

The water flows are ideal on the Feather River right now, with just the right amount of cool, clean water flowing downstream from the outlet, bringing up the fresh salmon.
