Chico State Bass Team qualifies for National Championship

Not many people realize that the Chico State Bass Team has qualified for the National Championship in their chosen sport. Chico State will be represented by Tony Dayton [hometown Walnut Creek], Robert "Bo" Harkins [also originally from Walnut Creek], Thomas White [hometown Fountain Valley], and Frank Vogt [Chico]. The first-place team will receive $50,000, and the school will receive $25,000. Also included will be a Ranger bass boat wrapped in the school colors.
