Water Temp: 52-55 deg
Water Clartity: Water color clear to light stain
Weather: Overcast 70deg

The fishing at Lake Berryessa continues to be good. Ima pinjack crank baits continue to shine early in the day. Smallmouth bass from 4-5 lbs are pounding this crank bait! Red craw and Chartreuse shad are working the best early in the day.The new Berkley Chigger Quad was put to work and the fish were loving it! I used this on a Freedom Tackle rogue jig head , Bass from 3.5 lbs to 9.37 lbs couldn't handle it! We caught 30 fish on this day. Fish from 2-20 ft with reaction baits and natural colored plastics for your best action. We had over 29 lbs on the scale and lost a giant too, yes on top of our 29 lb sack we lost another big one from 8-10 lbs class. What a day! Fish patient and move around alot. Seems 1-3 bites per spot is the norm. Its spring and the big fish are on the move , get out and go fishing!

Rb Bass staffers Ron Howe and Bob Tyler had a blast on this day!
