WEBER RIVER: (December 12) The only fishable open water is between Mountain Green and Morgan. Anglers report fair fishing from Echo Reservoir to South Weber. Bait anglers are having the most success with white and black jigs. A few anglers are picking up nice-sized fish on white jigs. Fly anglers have had good success using sow bugs and midge patterns. The brown trout spawn has ended and the fish moved to deep and slow holes. Please remember that all cutthroat trout, or trout with cutthroat markings, must be immediately released from the Great Salt Lake to Echo Reservoir dam. Check the USGS website for data about flows along the river.
