If you strike it right during a caddis emergence on the Firehole you'll have a day that you won't forget. We also have a few thunderstorms in the forecast that could produce even more terrific Pale Morning Dun fishing. If you're going to make it an all day trip don't forget to bring some soft hackles. Whether the fish are down or you just love the ferocious soft hackle take it's a great way of fishing.

The fish are looking up and we've had plenty of bugs on the water. We've been fishing dry flies in the wade section as well as the float section for a good bit now.
