The reservoir was checked on Jan. 3, and the ice was five to seven inches thick. A few anglers fished for three hours, and they caught three fish. They used jigs, Swedish pimples and Kastmasters tipped with worms. Because ice thickness varies at this location -- and can change quickly in warmer weather -- please use extreme caution and common sense when venturing out.
