The water levels are still very high and have increased since last week. The pond continues to receive good pressure from anglers. Anglers report fair fishing with the best times early in the morning before 9 a.m. before it gets too hot. Water temperatures are around 55°F. HOLMES CREEK RESERVOIR: (June 05) Anglers report good fishing for rainbow trout. They are readily taking PowerBait a few feet off the bottom. The trout are relatively close to shore, so shallow casts should produce best results. Water temperatures are around 65°F. This pond is primarily reserved for a boat club and if there is a boater, priority should be given to them. Please remember to pack out what you pack in so all anglers don't lose fishing privileges at this private pond.
