Trout bite caught on fire this week. The dam area has been productive for those using Power Bait and/or worms. Bass fishing also has picked up. Look for grass and throw crank baits or Senkos. A lot of five-pound plus bass are being caught. A 13.75 pound trout was caught by Mark Radonyselsrly of Oakland trolling a Rapala by the dam. Tim Foster hooked a 10.9 pound trout trolling a spoon near the dam. An 8.5 pound largemouth was caught-and-released by Mike Bangler, using a swim bait. (510) 247-2526
