River Reservoir - Greer, AZ

River Reservoir, located at over 8,200 feet elevation near Greer, AZ, is the largest of the three Greer Lakes and offers excellent high-country trout fishing. Covering about 50 acres, it’s stocked frequently with rainbow trout and occasionally with Apache trout, providing a scenic and productive fishery throughout the warmer months.

Rainbow trout are easily caught on PowerBait, worms, and spinners. Fly anglers have success with beadhead nymphs, woolly buggers, and dry flies, especially during summer hatches.
