Prado Lake, located in Chino, CA, within Prado Regional Park, is a 60-acre lake known for year-round fishing and accessibility. Managed by San Bernardino County Parks and supported by the California Department of Fish and Wildlife’s stocking schedule, Prado Lake provides anglers with dependable action for both trout and catfish.

Rainbow trout are stocked from November through early April, typically weighing 1–3 pounds. Anglers find success with PowerBait, nightcrawlers, and small spoons or spinners. Catfish become the primary target from late spring through early fall, stocked regularly with fish averaging 2 to 5 pounds. Cut bait, chicken liver, and stink baits fished near deeper water structure are most effective.
