Jaret Bogue is understandably happy with the fine late fall salmon he caught on the Sacramento River below Ball’s Ferry on December 7.

Despite the chill, our’s was a good day on the river. Before the morning was over everyone in the boat had a fish to take home. Here I’m displaying mine while Meredith looks on.

Despite the cloudy water from recent thunderstorms , and the slow fishing that resulted, we caught our limits of king salmon below Ball’s Ferry before noon last Friday. Here Bogue nets the fish that was caught by Cal Kellogg.
