Bass and Stripers have been biting both from shore and throughout the lake over the past week on various baits despite the colder weather.  Many anglers have been catching stripers from the shoreline over by the swim beach and off the rip rap in front of the boat shop using lug worms, nightcrawlers, and frozen baits.  Stripers have been a bit more active in the mornings in the marina and have also been caught off jerk baits and other reaction baits in those first few hours.  Bass have been biting some reaction baits in the windy conditions and also plastic baits or jigs along the shorelines and in the coves throughout the lake.  A few catfish have been caught on anchovies and chicken liver from rip rap and also off the shoreline over by Yellowbar bait and wait style.
