This fish report is from Pete Hillis reporting out of Pedro's Pangas, San Quintin, Baja Mexico??for the week ending 1/24/08.
Called San Quintin Thursday morning.?? The rains had just started.?? Before that the weather had been great for fishing.?? Unfortunately we still have not had too many anglers making the trip south.?? If the news from Tijuana is still affecting the tourism, we have been letting our customers know that we use the Tecate crossing all the time with no problems.?? The other great thing is that it is a beautiful ride along the Calle de Vino which goes along the wine country in that region. ??It does add about 40 miles to your trip but well worth it.
We hope to have more information for you next week.

Loaded up with large rock cod and ling cod and whitefish. Of special note, Bill Wehe brought a group from Lakewood, CA and Long Beach, CA and fished Saturday and Sunday with Captain Hector on the Rommy. They loaded up on...... Read More
