The waters continue to warm in Ixtapa Zihuatanejo but the blue water moved to beyond the 20 mile mark. The bite was on-again / off-again all week long. Top performance was turned in by Captain Cheva and Adolofo on the Dos Hemrmanos 1 & 2 on a long day for tuna with the Hanley group, landed 10 SAILFISH between the two boats and reported raising several more SAILS. The group was fishing at the 40 mile mark in search of Tuna when they ran into the aggressive pack of Sailfish. Although our captains reported raising several Sailfish per day, most were very reluctant to take the baits, Captain Chio on the Bloody Hook reported a single sailfish day as did captain Jose on the La Bamba. Captain Temo on the Secuestro reported 2 SAILFISH and 1 DORADO for 2 days of offshore fishing.. Inshore the Yellowtail Jacks, (jack cravelle) went crazy up at Las Saladitas as our captains reported action all day long. Several Roosterfish were also reported but they were on the small side. Although this is prime Marlin season very few Marlin were reported last week. The Yellowfin Tuna were reported beyond the 60 mile mark.

Ixtapa Zihuatanejo weather: Cool Mornings followed by exceptional days, mostly sunny and warm, temps from 70 nights to 87 daytime highs.

Seas: Calm to Moderate, blue water at the 20 mile mark, temps from 79 inshore to 82-83 offshore.

Bait Supply: Good
