Weather, since last Sunday we begin the week very windy and cold for the first 3 days, fortunately the wind quit on Wednesday afternoon turning the weather very?? ??nice and calm. ?? Yellowtail, their caught has been very successful during the week, even the worst weather fortunately the anglers had the chance to go out to do their fishing as they are very close to the good fishing spots while their stay in San Nicolas fishing Camp, there is plenty of fish but most of their caught was based on small sizes between 12 to 15 pounds, only few were on very good size as 30 pounds each one. Also on same spots beside the good Yellowtail caught there was a lot of Sea Bass and Red Snapper. The good spots were they went to do their fishing was on El Pulpito and San Ildelfonso, until last Thursday the boats began going to Pulpito reef and north of San Ildelfonso, on this plays is were the caught the biggest yellowtail and weight between 20 to 30 pounds also the best spot for Cabrillas & Snappers is very close from the camp on the south side only one mile a way, last Friday caught a big 30 pound Cabrilla "sea bass" on the afternoon time and all this fish bite with pink rapalas or look like rapala.

Marc Higashi was the first group that we begin at the San Nicolas Fishing Camp these years; during their stay they had the option of catching Yellowtails, Sea Bass, Red Snapper, Amberjack and Pintos bass, until last Wednesday the all group capture was 99 Yellowtail, 26 sea bass (Cabrillas), 7 Snappers, 1 Amberjack and Pinto bass, all of this fish was capture by 5 of the 6 boats and the number 6 caught and release.

We are showing a picture of one of the fishing team with 11 yellowtails, one sea bass and trigger fish, this capture happens in the morning and biggest yellow weight 30 pound.

Bait available from the San Nicolas Camp but the group at the camp prefer to fish with jigs.

We have news from Coronado and Carmen Island about the fishing has been not too good during this week. Truthful Fishing Report in Loreto Baja, Mexico.
