The full moon conditions had an effect on the Puerto Morelos area and made the catching much more difficult for the skippers and anglers. Overall reports for 11 days fished reflected 13 Atlantic barracuda, 7 king mackerel, 10 bonito, 1 trigger fish and 1 red snapper. According to the Fleet Manager, Armando Gutierrez, it was a "ho-hum" fishing week that should pick right back up as the full moon phase diminishes.

PM Climate: Mostly cloudy through the week with temps from 64 nights to 81 daytime highs.

Sea Conditions: Generally, a very good week, with temps holding steady at 79 degrees and light easterly tropical surface winds.
