This fish report is from Pete Hillis, reporting out of Pedro's Pangas, San Quintin, Baja Mexico, for the weekend ending 2/4/07.
Not much to report this week--not many anglers down??for the weekend.????The weather has been great--no winds to write about.?? When I left Wednesday for the states, I ran into some light rain.??On Tuesday, a local fisherman brought in 3 black seabass which were caught on live bait at the mouth of the bay while fishing for halibut.?? The fish weighed 85, 65 and 50 lbs.??
Otherwise, local fishing at the 240 and 15 fathom were producing limits of rock cod and ling cod.?? Only 2 yellowtail seen all week long, 16 to 20 lbs.
