Great news from the San Diego Sportfishing Fleet! Albacore are biting full speed at 150 miles southwest of San Diego, and more fish are moving up. The Shogun reported this morning they had over 200 albacore on the deck this morning and they are still biting. That is awesome fishing. Look for that big body of fish to keep marching up the line and be in one day range in no time. If you want to get on a trip, this would be a super weekend to do so, as the prices and loads will go up substantially after this weekend. On the seabass front, big fish are biting along the coast in various spots from Dana Point to La Jolla, this could be your chance of a lifetime to get a 50 pound plus white sea bass before they swim away. Catalina has been very slow, but San Clemente Island has been good when the Navy allows you to fish there.
