With the most recent trout pant on Thursday, October 28th people have been catching trout throughout the marina and along the shoreline using small tubes or spinners, power baits and nightcrawlers. Catfish have been biting very consistency throughout the lake but generally in coves or off of sandy banks down deep have been the best spots to fish. Bass have bene slowing down a bit biting more soft plastics than lures such as senkos, flukes and creature baits along the grass lines as it dies off for the fall. Stripers have also slowed down with less boils being seen, best way lately has been trolling heavy kastmasters or deep diving baits to cover more water. Fresh sardines or lugworms have bene the deal if you are thawing out bait, using heavier sinker to manage the winds and currents, points have bene the most successful using bait.
