After receiving a second tout plant on Friday, November 5th, people have been able to catch limits of trout along the shoreline and throughout the first few coves outside of the marina either using powerrbait, nightcrawlers, mice tails or smaller tube baits.

Tons of catfish have been caught over the past few weeks also along the shoreline either along the canal by the entrance booth or the rip rap in front of the bait shop heading towards the swim beach area. Coves and sandy banks throughout the lake have also been some great areas to sink out some bait to come across the catfish and stripers.

Most anglers have been having luck by trolling the lake to come across stripers but fresh sardines, lugworms and mackerel have still been working out well. Bass re slowing down a bit and eating more slower presentation soft plastics along the banks.
