Fishing Conditions 

The San Miguel is rising and in runoff mode. It will be off color, but still pretty clear, so fishing will remain decent.  Watch for Baetis hatches and spring caddis, otherwise, nymph rigs or even a streamer will yield some fish in the slow water.

Patterns/Bugs

Nymphs: Prince nymphs 10-16, Runt Stone Golden 12-16,  Pat’s Rubberlegs 8-12, 20 Incher 10-14, Flashback Pheasant Tail 14-20, Blowtorch Jig 14-16, San Juan Worms, Caddis Pupa.

BWO Dries 18-20: Parachute Adams, CDC Comparadun, Vis A Dun, Baetis Parachute.

Caddis Dries 14-20: Elk Hair Caddis, Peacock Caddis.
