Did you know our lake has large mouth bass? These guys know it.

We are in the swing of spawning and there are fish in every depth of the lake right now. Even if you’re the worst at this sport you could probably catch something. (But this is not a promise, the Park Ranger went fishing and didn’t catch a single thing…not even a bite. Granted she lost her patience really quickly and went out to look for birds instead.)

Park hours are 6am to 10pm. Your boat will be inspected at the visitor center. We have a decontamination station if you have been in contaminated waters within the dry time period.

The large mouth bass limit is 8 fish per person at Sand Hollow State Park.
