The Madison is in late-summer mode—hopper/dropper rigs are the go-to for covering water. Dry fly action is best early, with caddis and smaller hoppers still pulling fish. Nymphing rubberlegs with a smaller beadhead trailer remains consistent throughout the day. Streamer fishing has been turning on again in the evenings; focus on shaded banks, boulder seams, and faster pocket water.

Henrys Lake: Flows from Island Park Reservoir are now holding steady around 780 CFS
Henrys Fork- Ashton to St Anthony: Hopper fishing remains strong, especially through the mid and lower stretches
Snake River- South Fork: The hopper bite is excellent right now
Henrys Fork- Box Canyon : Flows coming out of Island Park Reservoir have dropped to approximately 1040 CFS
Henrys Fork- Ashton to St Anthony: Flows near Ashton are currently 1770 CFS
Snake River- South Fork: It’s been a busy and fun season on the South Fork!
Madison River : The biggest hatches are behind us but the Madison is still fishing well
Teton River: The Teton is extremely low right now, to the point where the Slide is not an option
