Fishing Conditions

The Upper Juan has received some much-needed rain…with more on the way this weekend.  Expect the upper Juan to blow out.  Before or after the rains, nymph rigs are in order, and the occasional streamer.  Watch for hatches of BWOs and midges

Nymphs: Pat’s Rubberlegs in 8-12.  Jigged Pat’s Rubberlegs #10-12, 20 Incher Stone #8-12, Epoxyback Golden Stone Nymph #8-12, Barr’s Graphic Caddis #14-18, Prarie Dog Pupa #14-16, Pheasant Tail #16-18.

Dries:  Vis-A-Dun Baetis 18-20, Ext. Body BWO 18-20, Parachute Adams 16-22, Griffith Gnat 18-22.

Streamers: Buggers, Mini Dungeon, Skullybugger.
