The Madison has been getting some really good Mother's Day caddis hatching, and you can do really well in the wade sections of the river upstream from Lyon's bridge. Again, the EZ caddis is a great imitation. I also like to use Mike Lawson's Partridge caddis emerger in Olive size 16 and trail it behind the EZ Caddis. This is a deadly combo. If nothing is happening on top, nymphing has also been very productive. I like using a size 14 red or brown zebra midge trailing a Pat's Rubberlegs.
