Fingerling tiger trout are stocked every summer by airplane at this water. Fish will survive through the winter, so multiple size classes of tiger trout can be found. This is a popular fishery, but the one-mile hike to the reservoir keeps large crowds away. Fishing can be fast in early summer during the damselfly hatch. Fly fishing with elk hair caddis or hoppers usually produce good fishing.
