Marlin and Dorado Feature in a Cabo Morning Fishing Charter

Les and Heather joined Blue Sky Cabo Fishing and Tours for a private December 20 fishing trip aboard the 32-foot Luhrs Blue Star.

Their reservation featured a five-hour morning schedule, beginning at 6:00 AM and concluding at 11:00 AM, with Captain Jorge assigned to the vessel.

The confirmed catch included one marlin and two dorado, providing two distinct offshore gamefish species during the same outing.

Marlin are among the most recognizable billfish associated with Cabo San Lucas sportfishing, while dorado, also known as mahi-mahi, are popular for their vivid coloration and appeal among offshore anglers.

The two dorado represented the majority of the three-fish catch, while the marlin added a billfish result to the outing.

A Mixed-Species Result Adds to Cabo December Fishing Charter Records

The December 20 outing contributes a historical example of Cabo marlin fishing and Cabo dorado fishing during a single private reservation.

The catch record identifies one marlin without specifying its exact species. It also confirms two dorado, bringing the total to three fish.

For anglers researching Cabo fishing reports, this outing documents a mixed-species result during a scheduled five-hour morning charter.

With Les and Heather as the two confirmed guests, Captain Jorge's Blue Star recorded one marlin and two dorado.

This result contributes another documented entry to Cabo San Lucas sportfishing history during December 2024.
