Fishing has started to get better and better despite the warm air temperatures. Fishing has been good early morning and late afternoon using Tazmanian Devils and Thomas Buoyant, as well as using a mosquito and knats. During the heat of the day your best bet is to use Salmon Peach, Red Salmon Egg or Rainbow Power Bait on a boat at the far end of Silver Lake where Rush Creek comes in. On Rush Creek they have been using worms and a wide variety of flies from mosquitoes to nymphs, as the hatch is certainly upon us. We also had some good fish brought in from Grant Lake this week with people using Salmon Peach Power Bait. Dottie Milhon caught a beautiful 3lb 8 oz Cutthroat out of Grant Lake trolling a Speedy Shiner much to the dismay of here husband who is a self proclaimed Professional Fisherman who was skunked on the day. We are looking to get a huge load of Alper's Trout, either the end of this week or the first part of next week so be prepared for some excellent fishing.

All the proceeds of Silver Lake Resort annual Fourth of July Horseshoe Tournament will be given to the Chris Jones Memorial Scholarship fund. Horseshoes and BBQ will take place on Saturday July 3rd starting at 11am. Come out and play horseshoes have some good BBQ and enjoy all the festivities.
