While the algea conditions in Crowley still exist, the conditions are improving. With the cycle of nature taking its natural course, the blooming algea is starting to settle down in certain parts of the lake. Not as bad as a couple of weeks ago, but there are still some pockets of green. However... the northern end of the lake where the majestic "O" flows into the lake is a great spot. The current from the river flushes out a lot of the algea. We suggest stripping perch patterns in 10 - 15 feet of water. Midging in McGee with your decoy species about six inches off the bottom might have you taken for a ride, courtesy of one fat trout. Hilton Bay is also getting good reports. Conditions in Crowley are improving.
