Panguitch Lake at 8,000 ft is a scenic 1,100-acre fishery near Bryce Canyon. Known for brook and rainbow trout, it offers reliable fish action amid pine forests and open sky.

Rainbows and brook trout average 10–14 inches. Troll from boats using spinners and spoons, or fish from shore with PowerBait, worms, or spinners near campsite areas.

Fly anglers use caddis and Adams dry patterns during summer; nymphs and midges work well around inflows.

Facilities include a boat ramp, parking, restrooms, and campsites. Fishing is best early or late, as summer boat traffic peaks midday. Watch weather—afternoon storms are common.

Consistent summer fishing and easy access make Panguitch a rewarding high-elevation trout destination.
