Another upbeat fishing week at Puerto Morelos and the reporting of the first blue marlin of the season, taken aboard the "Pescadora II". (no weight or details given)

The boats reporting for a total of 16 fishing days reflected a smorgasbord catch that included 1 blue marlin, 1 sailfish, 2 grouper, 18 dorado, 1 wahoo, 6 king mackerel, 3 giant barracuda, 2 pargo, 1 triggerfish, 1 yellowfin tuna and 1 amberjack.

Puerto Morelos Climate: Ranged from 73 nights to 90 daytime highs, some scattered thunder clouds and tropical breezes.

Sea Conditions: Temps were stable at 82 degrees, some easterly wind chop.

Best Bait/Lure: Rigged ballyhoo still getting the best action. (Bait used for the Blue marlin not reported).
