Unfortunately, a terribly slow week for fishing in the Puerto Morelos area, with only five short fishing days reported. According to the Marina & Fleet Manager, Armando Gutierrez, the full moon had also taken it's toll on the fishing and made for a difficult week. Overall fish counts for the 5 days reflected 2 king mackerel, 1 grouper, 2 Atlantic barracuda, 1 amberjack, 1 red snapper and 2 yellowfin tuna. While a good variety, it was slow for the numbers.

PM Climate: Partly cloudy days with temps from 68 nights to 86 daytime highs.

Sea Conditions: Overall, pretty good temps and clarity, from 78 to 79 degrees and light tropical surface winds.

Best Bait: Continues to be the skirted ballyhoo
