Wow—what an epic weekend!
Our association boats made it happen up and down the coast, and it was nothing short of incredible. Coastal communities came alive, and the energy was amazing. Hotels were booked, parking lots were packed, and tackle shops were sold out—it truly felt like a celebration of everything we love about our fishery and our way of life.

It was heartwarming to see so many familiar faces, and even more so to witness the joy and excitement shared by everyone. Our limited salmon opener was a huge success—not just for our association boats and members, but for businesses, families, and entire communities that thrive when salmon fishing is open.

We’re proud of the role we played this weekend and remain committed to working toward the longevity and sustainability of our salmon fishery. This opener was a taste of what’s possible, and we’re more hopeful than ever for longer seasons ahead. Let’s keep pushing to bring back the full vibrancy of our coastal towns—more business, more opportunity, and more of the happiness that comes when our docks are busy and our boats are full.
