Trout stocking has ended for the year, but there are still plenty of fish to be had. Because of abundant freshwater going into Meadow Creek Pond year-round, this pond rarely freezes, providing a convenient open water fishing opportunity through most of the winter. During the winter season, try fishing trout dough bait or worms 1–2 feet off the bottom. Flies and spinners can also be quite effective. Trout stocking is scheduled to resume in March 2026.
