Marlin and Bonita Feature in This Cabo Morning Fishing Charter

John, also known as Braden, joined Jacob and Bryce for a private December 23 outing aboard the 32-foot Luhrs Blue Star.

Their six-hour fishing reservation was scheduled to begin at 6:00 AM and conclude at noon, with Captain Jorge assigned to the vessel.

The confirmed catch included two marlin and two bonita, creating an even split between billfish and tuna-like fish.

Marlin are among the most recognizable offshore gamefish associated with Cabo San Lucas sportfishing, while bonita represent another group of fast-swimming fish encountered in regional waters.

The four-fish result provides a mixed-species entry in the December fishing records.

Four Fish Across Two Species Add to Cabo December Fishing Charter History

The December 23 outing contributes a documented result for anglers researching Cabo marlin fishing and other offshore catches.

Marlin accounted for two of the four recorded fish, while bonita completed the remaining half of the catch.

The fishing record does not specify the exact marlin species, individual fish weights, or release outcomes.

With three confirmed guests aboard the Blue Star, the scheduled six-hour charter recorded four fish across two species.

This result adds another individual entry to the historical record of Cabo San Lucas sportfishing during December 2024, documenting two marlin and two bonita under Captain Jorge.
