A fairly slow fishing report from Puerto Morelos, according to Armando Gutierrez, but mostly due to lack of anglers and even for those that fished, it was all short, 4-hour type trips. Overall catches for 9 fishing days reflected 11 king mackerel, 1 grouper, 1 Atlantic barracuda and 4 dorado.

PM Climate: A sun/cloud mix with temps from 63 nights to 85 daytime highs.

Sea Conditions: Tropical surface winds from the east, 5-15 knots, gentle seas, temps at 78-79 throughout the area.

Best Bait: Continues to be the rigged ballyhoo, which are plentiful throughout this area, year-round.
