This really fun creek that meanders through the town from Twin Lakes all the way down to the 203 is loaded with trout and a lot of family fun. The occasion occurs when a four-plus pound trout is taken out of this creek on a three weight rod. They're hiding in the pools. There are plenty of trout to be hooked on a Rooster Tail or Panther Martin for the spin anglers. This is the ideal place to take your cup of coffee and gear for a few hours of fun. You can fish in the big pools near the Mammoth Museum, off the meadows near Snowcreek, or venture either direction up or down into uncharted territory. The only other company you may come across off the beaten path is a family of deer.
